We are looking for a talented business analyst to come help us build our business as we cultivate unculturable bacteria.

We are a multi-disciplinary team that bring skills in many areas from across the world. We are funded by some of the biggest biotech angels in Europe including Peder Holk Nielsen (Former CEO of Novozymes), Jonathan Milner (Founder of Abcam), Claudio Costamagna (Former CEO of Goldman Sachs Europe) and Hugh Grant (last CEO of Monsanto).

The role will see you working on a diverse range of projects to help guide the direction of the company and support on core company activities required to make this happen. The position gives early-stage exposure to key industry players across a number of growing markets and an opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, ambitious firm.

 

You should have:

  • A Master’s degree in life sciences or finance (or Bachelor’s plus other demonstrable experience)

  • Interest in financial principles and commercialisation

  • Interest in biotechnology and innovation

  • Experience performing self-directed research

  • Collaborative drive and good team ethic

  • Strong excel, word, powerpoint and organisational skills

  • Ability to learn and adapt


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and performing market analyses across key healthcare, agritech and industrials sectors to guide Baccuico’s commercial focus

  • Supporting development of commercial relationships and agreements

  • Working directly with all members of the business team (CEO, Head of Operations & Head of Business Development) to support company operations and strategic initiatives

  • Performing administrative tasks to keep the business running
