Investors
Role
This is a newly created role within the Business and Operations team. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the leadership team, you will help shape Bactobio’s commercial strategy as we continue to grow. We are looking for a strongly self-motivated and highly adaptable individual to make the role their own in a fast-paced environment.
Team
Our Business and Operations team is a close-knit group of “doers” who manage the daily operations and long-term vision of a fast-growing biotechnology company. We run a lean structure with strong work ownership and collaborate closely to keep the company's development on track.
Responsibilities:

Guiding our route to Series A: shaping company development for our next fundraise, assisting with creation of external materials, identifying fundraising opportunities and pitching

Building investor relationships: supporting the CEO in identifying and developing investor relationships in line with company strategy

Overseeing Bactobio’s business model: detailing Bactobio’s route-to-market strategy for novel antimicrobial compounds (including product requirements, compound development partners and asset value analysis)

Building partnerships: identifying and developing strategic commercial and academic partnerships

Maintaining market awareness: engaging with relevant market ecosystems and monitoring the competitive landscape and market opportunities that arise from it
You should have:
-
Educational grounding in science or technology; advanced degrees (MBA / PhD) preferred

3+ years’ experience in a consulting / strategy / business development role / VC

Collaborative drive and good team ethic

Ability to learn and adapt fast

First-class problem-solving skills and drive to address new challenges, not being afraid to step outside of your comfort zone

Strong presentation skills and capabilities with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana)
