Innovate UK grant kick-off!

We're delighted to announce that we're kicking off another grant co-funded by Innovate UK, the UK's innovation agency, this time for the Farming Innovation Pathways (FIP) competition in collaboration with Crop Health and Protection Limited (CHAP).

This 18-month project will see us screening our bacteria for new fungicides to tackle the wheat pathogen Z. tritici, which is responsible for crop losses of up to 50% annually.

Funding round announcement and
upcoming change of name

Lab move and new automation equipment

Baccuico is moving! We've taken up a great new office and lab unit in Vox Studios and are in the process of moving in. The new site brings all of our teams into one space, meaning wet lab scientists, bioinformaticians and the business team can all collaborate freely. Our latest automation robot is already in place and we look forward to finishing the move over the next month.
