Jordan completed a BSc in Astrophysics, an MSc in Chemistry, and a PhD in Synthetic Biology, all at the University of Toronto. This was followed by postdoctoral work at Imperial College London, where he researched the implementation of control strategies in synthetic regulatory gene networks, and work at Synthace Ltd, a software company specialising in experimental design and automation.

At Bactobio, Jordan works on engineering bacteria, as well as developing how we do experimentation—helping to engineer our platform for generating and learning from data.

In his free time, Jordan is happiest outdoors.
