Stacey previously completed a BSc in Biology and MSc in Plant Molecular Sciences at Royal Holloway, University of London, before embarking on an MRes in Molecular Plant and Microbial Sciences at Imperial College, London. She is now finalising her time as a PhD student on a joint doctoral training programme between Royal Holloway and Imperial College where she researched the impact of plant immunity and pesticide use on microbial communities in leaves.
At Bactobio, Stacey will be working with the team to help culture and screen novel bacterial species from new soil sources; as well as assisting in optimising the bacterial generation pipeline.
Outside of the lab, Stacey enjoys attending concerts, long walks with her partner and dog, and socialising with friends.
