Jacky is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Drug Discovery at Queen Mary University of London, where his research explores the intersection of machine learning and biomedical innovation. He previously completed an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics at Wageningen University, where he focused on computational biology and data analysis. His academic journey reflects a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied sciences, with a growing focus on AI-driven approaches in the life sciences.
At Bactobio, Jacky supports the development of machine learning tools to drive innovation in microbial discovery. His work involves applying machine and deep learning methods to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve the performance of internal research platforms. He collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to integrate scalable, cutting-edge solutions into Bactobio’s computational infrastructure.
Outside of work, Jacky is passionate about basketball, climbing, and reading, particularly topics related to data science and technology.
