Jamie Lee

Computational Biology Intern

Jamie is currently completing her PhD in Computational Biology at Imperial College London. Her research is focused on developing mathematical models to describe host-microbiome interactions in eczema. The objective of her research is to enhance understanding of the skin microbiome's role in eczema and to develop microbial therapies for its treatment. Jamie earned her Masters degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University in 2019.


During her internship at Bactobio, Jamie works with the bioinformatics team. Her work mainly focuses on exploring and developing machine-learning methods to predict and control microbial communities.


In her free time, Jamie enjoys practising aerial silks and running. She is also an avid reader and loves travelling.
