Bob Renwick

Software Engineering Team Lead

Bob holds a BSc in Economics from UCL and an MSc in Computing from Imperial College London. Bob has an extensive background in software engineering, notably serving as VP of Technology at EDITED, an AI-driven market research company. In this role, he led and scaled a multidisciplinary team of over 30 professionals, including software engineers, data scientists, and designers. As the co-founder of Plexi, he played a pivotal role in shaping the software engineering platform and strategy, tailoring digital solutions for veterinary practices.


At Bactobio, Bob leads the software engineering team, focusing on creating top-tier software for capturing and processing experimental data. Bob’s commitment extends beyond user experience, ensuring an exceptional developer experience.


Outside of work, Bob is an avid padel player, actively refining his skills for tournament play. He also dedicates time to self-teaching piano and indulges in his passion for Formula 1 racing on weekends.
