Charlie holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford, where he cultivated a strong interest in applying computational methods to complex problems.

Before joining Bactobio, Charlie worked as a Data Scientist at Intellium AI, where he collaborated with both data and software teams to develop AI-driven tools. His work focused on building and testing software designed to improve scientific workflows and support data-driven decision-making.

At Bactobio, Charlie is part of the Software team. His responsibilities include developing tools that support the scientific pipeline, enhancing the integration between experimental data and analysis, and contributing to the broader goal of accelerating scientific discovery.

Outside of work, Charlie enjoys running, reading, and learning new languages.
