Dr Katie Stevens

Bioinformatician

Katie studied Natural Sciences at the University of East Anglia before working as a Research Assistant at Cambridge University. She completed her PhD at the London Institute of Medical Sciences, using structural and phylogenetic approaches to understand the diversity and evolution of histone variants in archaea.


At Bactobio, Katie works in the Bioinformatics team, helping with the bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data.


Outside of work, Katie enjoys finding new walks around London and going to gigs. She is currently trying to convince herself to cycle more often.
