Jon has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Essex. He has spent his career building software across a variety of industries, including eCommerce, AI, and Biotech with a particular focus on designing and building user interfaces and visualisations for complex workflows and datasets.

Before joining Bactobio, Jon worked at Logical Glue Ltd where he built a SaaS platform for training machine learning models in the cloud, and at Synthace Ltd where he worked on their experiment design and automation platform.

At Bactobio, Jon is part of the software team, helping to build digital tools to enable scientists to work more effectively and efficiently and to increase the pace of scientific discovery.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys playing dodgeball, swing dancing, and acting in amateur theatre.
