Lukasz holds an MSc in Environmental Microbiology, where he investigated the reintroduction of urban sewer sludge as a fertiliser for agricultural purposes. He has extensive experience in overseeing research laboratories. Previously, he worked as a Research Technician specialising in bacterial resistance biology and as a Senior Technician at Imperial College, where he led multiple research infrastructure projects. Lukasz then transitioned to the role of Technical Operations Manager at King’s College London, managing research facilities and labs, overseeing their budget and safety issues, and leading research initiative projects.

At Bactobio, Lukasz works within the Operations team as a Lab Manager. He is responsible for managing the labs, including purchasing equipment, managing stock, and serving as the Health and Safety Officer.

Outside of work, Lukasz is an avid exercise enthusiast, engaging in activities such as cycling, snowboarding, and paddleboarding. He also finds joy in gardening, reading, and learning Portuguese.
