Maisey Davidson
Bioinformatician
Maisey studied Natural Sciences (Pharmacology) at the University of Cambridge then completed an MSc in Bioinformatics and Theoretical Systems Biology at Imperial College London. Her Master’s projects included modelling neuronal development, investigating the transcriptomic response to multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, and exploring antibiotic resistance genes in the paediatric pharyngeal microbiome using metagenomics.
At Bactobio, Maisey is creating and optimising data visualisations, carrying out bioinformatics analysis of bacterial sequence data and helping to manage our data.
Outside work, Maisey likes crocheting, trying out new recipes and has recently started climbing.
