Stephanie completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Humboldt University in Berlin and received a PhD in Genetics from Duke University. Following her PhD, she trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto.

At Bactobio, she leads the screening team, aiming to identify antimicrobial compounds.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, photography, and eating.
