Shinjini completed her BSc in life sciences from the University of Delhi and a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Virology and Immunology from Amity University in India. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology from the University of Manchester.

At Bactobio, Shinjini works within the microbial generation team, supporting the microbial isolation pipeline to help discover previously unculturable microbes.

In her free time, Shinjini enjoys reading, puzzles and trying out cute little cafes wherever she can find one!
