Tobias holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Lund. His career spans operational leadership roles across finance, HR, and compliance, bringing a wealth of strategic and organisational expertise.

Prior to joining Bactobio, Tobias served as Vice President of Operations & HR at the scaling startup Hipgnosis Song Management, where he was responsible for cross-functional operations and talent strategy. He has also held senior leadership roles at the Swedish bank SEB, spearheading large-scale structural transformations such as restructuring of branches and building out new capabilities. His early career was shaped by management consulting at Capgemini Consulting, advising businesses on strategy and operational efficiency.

As Head of Business Operations at Bactobio, Tobias is responsible for overseeing finance, HR and lab & office management with the objective to optimise operational processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.

A former Swedish Special Forces soldier, Tobias now spends most of his free time with his family and four young children but always seeks opportunities to exercise - whether on padel and tennis courts, on the ski slopes or at the gym.
